Scope of Physiotherapy
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T)
The Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T) is a four years full time academic programme with non-semester pattern of examination.
After passing the 4th year of education, the student undergoes Clinical Internship for a period of 6 months in various departments.
The student should score a minimum of 50% marks in the examinations held, after which he/she is eligible to apply for the convocation.
Eligibility Criteria
- A pass in the higher secondary examination (HSC) with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology.
- Candidates studied abroad and passed an equivalent examination with the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology) and English.
- A pass in the senior secondary school examination of National open school with a minimum of 5 subjects with any of the following subjects:
1) English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology.
2) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other language.
AGE LIMIT FOR ADMISSION
- A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the age on or before 31st December on the year of admission.
